Default bogging down?????

I have an 00 slp ss with a hand ful of mods (ls6 inktake, ported mass air and throttle body, smooth bellow, slp intake, LT's, OR Y, SLP loudmouth, free mods, tr6's with msd 8.5s, just your usual upgrades) when i get on it hard and power shift it will bogg down right when you shift. and if you toy with it for a second it will stop. It has yet to be dyno tuned which it coming as soon as the funds are available. What is wrong and why is it doing this???

you are a M6 so it could be the clutch slipping, Ive had my car once or twice feel like that when I shifted real hard from 1st to 2nd it feels like it is bogging down being the car doesnt pull, but thats because the clutch is slipping.

Just thought I would mention that being no one else did.

i concidered the clutch slipping before but i have never had that problem before so as much as i work on cars i honestly dont know what it feels like. I had a spec 3 clutch in it before and never had that problem but it chattered so bad i had to change it and i went back to stock. Yall think 360 or so rwp is too much for a stock clutch?

I expect your ported MAF has you bogus lean and
every time you mat it hard, you get a bunch of
knock retard that takes, oh, couple of seconds
to go away?

You want scans of driving to see what's going on.

If your clutch was slipping your RPM would flare,
not bog.

well when mine slipped obviously the rpm's went up, but just about 1000-2000 rpm, and the car didnt seem to move with it, so this gave the effect of the car feeling like it was bogging down being the clutch was still grabbing but not to it's full extent, If the clutch was slipping completely then I can see the RPM's spiking, but if it is still grabbing somewhat then it gives that effect of a "bogging down feel" in a way, that is the only reason why I mentioned it might be the clutch, probably isn't but I just thought I would throw that in as a possibility.

thanks jimmy blue that helps a lot. The rpms arent moving when it boggs so i guess that mean no clutch problems. I guess i just need to break out the plastic and get it tuned...

you wouldn't happen to have HPtuners or something like it would you? Or if you know someone who does you need to hook it up and go drive round for like 30 min. and check your fuel trims.. Is it throwing any codes?

why not? the current situation you're in, for one. if i were you, seriously man, i'd go buy a stock MAF. it's good for ~500bhp before it becomes a bottleneck. it's just one of those things you shouldn't mess with. would you shave your brake rotors in order to save weight? of course not. it's just one of those things you shouldn't touch.
