information on which carburated intake is better, the edelbrock performer rpm, the victor jr or the gm? should i just go with the ingnition from edelbrock or is there a better one out now. i'm new to the ls1 world.

my plans are for a 6.0 with 243 heads and a pretty healthy cam.

Most people seem to prefer the victor jr. You should post this in the internal section. You may be new, but this question is going to need to be answered by some more experienced LSx guys.
