Road Trips in Fbody's.
I just got home from my 2200 mile trip from NJ to Orlando, damn our seats are uncomfortable I saw a ton of fbody's in the Winter Springs/Orlando area and on my way down on I95. I have to say that the car ran flawlessly and got decent gas mileage, LS1 FTW! One problem was the heavy foot that nailed me a nice 86 in a 65 ticket in N.Carloina bastards. All in all I would fly next time

I'm with 4150...
I have never found the seats to be uncomfortable.I actually find "regular" cars VERY uncomfortable.I can't stand that upright sitting on a bar stool feel that most cars give you.
I prefer the almost reclined "sitting in a bath tub" positioning these cars have. But thats just me...

I drove from Iowa all the way to Washington in mine last month an it was actually a pretty comfy ride for the most part, I got around 26-27mpg goin like 80 most of the way which i think is pretty damn good for an LS1 goin that fast. The only part i didnt like was when i got to idaho an had to go thru the mountains, I went thru when the pass got its first snowfall of the year, an my car has summer performance tires on, talk about scary ****-i had to leave my car on the side of the interstate an spend the night in a motel, i was worried i wasn't gonna be able to get down the mountain in one piece but i got thru alright, after that it was smooth sailing

JerseyLS1; sorry to hear about the "citation" (as the gendarmes south of the Mason-Dixon call them ). Does the Tar Heel State have any kind of cooperative with our state as far as moving violations go (i.e.; points, reporting to insurance co.) ??
As far as the seats, the stockers are not too bad for me, but I wore my driver's side out, so I got a Recaro Speed and have NO MORE worries about long distance/hours comfort (as well as being slightly lighter)!

The seats are O.K. at best - they can get sweaty when the weather is hot. The big thing that sucks with our cars on long trips is the ride quality. Rough roads and stiff suspension = headaches and bruised kidneys.

I give the seats a better than average rating.I did four 700 mile legs and had no complaits at all. I'm 6' and 300 plus pounds. In my DD Camry, it is way more painfull and uncomfortable. I'd say the Camaro also beats out the 93 Olds Cutlass I had as well. People there are way worse out there for sure!

Idk, i find these cars to be one of the more comfortable seating arrangements that i've ever driven. I actually hate driving other cars because they feel uncomfortable compared to the c-camaro.

Passengers tend to not like long trips in my car. They hate the hump on the floor and the James Bond cupholder that opens conveniently into their left knee cap.

I think the seats are pretty good, I like the position.
but on long trips my lower back gets tight, nothing a little break at a rest stop wont fix. Maybe an Advil if it really starts to hurt.

I have done a couple 10 hours drives and I thought the camaro was very comfortable. I love how everything is positioned. Its a lot better than my friends 03 cobra, that car is really uncomfortable.

I went from NJ to ATL to Orlando back to NJ in 04 in my 95, got 28~30 mpg doing the speed limits most of the time and it was quite comfy. i went to NC and back a month ago with the present setup in my 98 and other than crappy mileage (22 ugh), I had no complaints. I got no tighter than I would have on a Greyhound or in a Caddy, but that's just 40 creepin' on me
oh yeah....I'm 6'3'' 225

I actually really like the t/a seats. The camaro seats are not bad either. The most i have ever done in mine was 4 hours. In an lt1 camaro i have done the same in the passenger seat and that sucked.

Hmm....I find my seats WAY more comfortable than all the other I've been in. Although the only comparison I have is mustangs Maybe some of you have different seats though. In my 00 T/A I can inflate/deflate different portions with 2 different buttons, I find them very nice.
