Default Out with the old, and in with the LS1!

So I just traded my 1G talon in the sig for a 98 camaro with 100k, really clean car and was own by a personal freind of mine..

What should I look out for with 100k LS1s? I searched and found mixed things.....

The car is very fast for what it is, It is GUTTED honda style, but im putting some stuff back in to make it a bit more livable...

It needs a clutch and im kidna broke some im thinking about a Z06 clutch if I can find one for cheap etc

Congrats on the purchase! I'm sure you'll enjoy it! There are quite a few guys on here with 100,000 mile plus ls1's so i'm sure they will know what kind of problems to expect. As far as i've heard that kind of mileage doesn't hurt the ls1.

it's about time u got a V8 again. but u have a 2000, not a '98! i dont believe u Joe, i started this FC project 6months ago and u jus trade straight up for a Camaro that weighs almost less than my car! i can't wait to get home for break and check it out!
