automatic? Put a torque converter in the tranny.
manual? 4.10 gears will wake it up.

Bonus points? Nitrous will surely add a lot of torque!

Gears wake up an M6 car, but I think 4.10 are too steep for an everyday driver.

I'm not a fan of tq converters either... gives up too much of that rev feeling of the ls1.

However a GOOD exhaust system will add tons of tq you can feel. Something like Pacesetter headers and custom True Duals. IMO this should be the first thing you do to mod your ls1 (along with a lid).

Horsepower is a function of torque and R.P.M., so more torque = more horsepower for the same engine speed. There are some tricks to better utilizing and shifting the torque values around in the RPM range as mentioned above.

HP is a calculation derived from actual measured torque, so more TQ = more HP.

I added 4.10s and swapped in the new clutch at the same time and it was a like a completely different car. Of course I drove on a slipping clutch a little longer than I should have .

4.10s in a 6-speed daily driver are all right, but just be carefull if you do any low-speed roll races. It doesn't take long to hit the rev-limiter in first gear from about a 35 roll.

4.10's aren't too much for a DD, but yeah, first gear ends rather quickly. It sure is a hell of a lot of fun getting there though!

Install a Duramax diesel... Then just tow the truck you took it out of behind your F-Bod. I dont think towing the truck behind you will add to the #'s, but i dont think anyone has done that before!

Cam if M6, or Nitrous for both, but I would try the suggestion above 1st.
