Default Why do Camaro's and Corvettes sound so different?

Is ith the true dual set-up. The corvettes have a much nicer sound to them compared to camaros/firebirds IMO. How can we get ours to sound like a vette???

dual exhaust and dual mufflers with a factory H-pipe on the Corvette. Single exhaust on the f-body.

Vettes sound better IMO, but I love a loud F-body screaming at WOT too.

get an electronic cutout (i love mine ), I love vette's but you will scare the crap out of vette guys when you pass them. But yeah tru-duals sound so good on our F-bodies. or four little letters GMMG

http://video.yahoo.com/video/play?ei...cutout%2Bstock

Its a Stock camaro with the cutout open

the C5 in the video above in my opinion sounds like crap, might be the camera though, no disrespect just sounds more like a whine then a roar.

you would need to have a custom dual exhaust made up on a f- body.

IMO dual exhaust f-bodies sound nothing like a vette, maybe its the 3" x-pipe and bullets lol , but the f-bodies sound meaner with duals...

Yeah...I don't buy the "put duals on an f-body and it'll sound like a Vette." My duals on my Camaro make my car sound NOTHING like a Vette. There's something more going on with the design of the exhaust itself.

I love the way F-bodies sound. I think they sound way better than vetts do IMO. F-bodies look a lot meaner too. The only people that I usually see driving vettes are old *** rich guys.

yeah i think the vettes have more of a tuned sound than the F-Bods. But the sound of the F-Bod is great(even stock) and I def. like the styling of the WS6 over the vette, its more aggresive(and the exhaust suits each)

Vettes eve with after market exhaust sound much much tone and cleaner....

I love the way a full exhaust vette sounds, maybe the amount of exhaust piping used?

Also it's the fact that you run 2 full size mufflers in a Vette's dual exhaust system. That is really going to change how it sounds. And of course an hpipe will sound much different than an xpipe.

When I got my Vette I thought of adding exhaust head/cam pkg or a Pro-Charger. I've owned to F-bodies and I agree Vettes in fact sound diffrent. I just love the way my Vette's tone sounds with stock exhaust, instead of deckin out the Vette I'm buyin another LS1 F-body to fix up
