if your going to do alot of highway driving go with the 3.42s if its ball out performance you want go with the 3.73 and say bye bye to gas mileage. pick your cam and then pick gears that complement the cam

well the tr224 cam is a good one to use with a stock stall. i have a small comp cam with a stock stall, but i regret even getting it. if i could do it again i would get a stall first and then a decent size cam.

3.23 to 3.73 you would feel a bit of difference, but unless you are bracket racing I wouldn't worry about it.
TR220 or Comps 216/220 are great cams to run with the stock converter.

That gear upgrade isnt worth the effort or cash.
TR220 or TR224 but it would be worth it to have the stall/cam combo. You will sound way meaner when you leave a light or parking spot, and it will be so much faster!
