Default Headlight inop!!!

My right side headlight took a dump on me last night. What do yall think it could be? The motor is what im thinking... Any help would be appreciated.

Typically the motors do go bad, see if your getting power to it, if you are then the motor probably burnt out.

does it make a grinding noise or not go up at all?

I replaced mine with a brass gear, it was as good as new and will last the life of the car.

check the wiring. remove the plastic piece that wraps around the lights. then you get a real good look at them. had similar problem, somehow wires got twisted up, straightened them out. everything ok since
