Could be caused by bad shocks, or various deteriorating bushings (including LCA or PHB, etc.) to name some likely candidates.

Is the suspension stock? How many miles on the car?

BTW, welcome to the site.

check your exhaust bushings. they tend to wear out. that quieted my car quite a bit.

the rear end ,left rear to be specific, squeaks on bumps and rough roads on my 01 also. been to 2 diff Chevy dealers and they both "can't hear it". I think they don't want to deal with it. My suspension is stock, 40,654 miles on it, Hooker cat back exhaust and some engine mods(that won't affect the rear). The left side of the car is also approx. 3/4" higher than the right side, I thought that may have something to do with the squeak, the Chevy garages said 1" diff is within Chevy spec. WHAT!?! You can look at it from behind and see it "lean". I did swap the rear springs but that didnt help at all. Any help or even to be pointed in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

I doubt that has anything to do with the noise you're hearing. Reason being, my Camaro is similar with a gapping difference, but I have NO squeaking noises.

It's not nearly as much as yours (you can't actually notice the car lean) but the gap between the top of the tire and the bottom of the fender lip is slightly larger on the driver's side (about a 1/4" difference side to side). Not as big a differance as yours, but still there none the less.

One thing you guys with these squeaking issues can try is this:

Get some aerosol spray silicone lubricant and spray down various bushings in the rear suspension (like LCAs, PHB, sway bar, exhaust insulators/hangers, etc.). Just remember, only spray one bushing at a time and test drive the car after each. If you spray everything down at once and the sound goes away, you’ll have no idea which bushing was causing the noise. If you’re able to pinpoint the source using this method, then you can replace the effected bushing/component.

I’ve used this method before on my old 3rd gen to track down similar noises. Worked for me in the past.

there was a bulletin on the rear springs not have bushings or insulation where the spring connects to the rear end. pull out your springs and put heater hose on the bottom where it touches metal to metal. should help out a bit

What kind of lubricant should be used on your shocks and bushings and stuff?
Someone mentioned silicone lubricant.

My brakes keep squeaking... it's pretty damn annoying. Can't tell if the rotors need turned or what because they don't knock when I brake like they're warped and the brake pads are brand new... maybe I should just get new rotors? Any thoughts?

Grease your swaybar bushings. Loosen the bar and use a thick moly type lube between the rubber and bar. This should be done every year or two.

use brake lube then...i have heard of brake pads crystallizing under high heat then a fast cool down, they kinda crystal lize and make the compound harder and more brittle making a screaching.

just a thought..

Alright... good idea. I'll try that and see what happens. Might as well.
