I was just curious (to those who have reduced the overall weight of there car) what you are removing. I would like to shave some pounds of my beast. I don't want to completely gut it like full on drag racers do, but removing the back seats would be fine. What else is there to do?

Just remove the compressor, condensor, and piping.

Do you have to get a plate, fake pulley or something? I mean it changes the belt configuration. How does that work?

no, it runs a separate belt that only drives the A/c compressor.

i weighed my bumper support - 15lbs.

Take out back seats, thats a good 30-40lbs with seatbelts out also. Front and back bumper supports or whatever thats another 40-50lbs bt the 2. take out a couple speakers thats a good 15lbs. Then get a gym membership and lose bout 50lbs should be good to go after all that.
