Default Inexpensive mods?

What are some inexpensive mods that will get the best bang for your buck? Other that exhaust and lid... I was looking into a ported throttle body. Worth the money? Thanks.

Not totally inexpensive but gears will really wake a car up. Stainless headers and full true dual exhaust is a good start, but far from inexpensive. Ported tb is a good mod, as is underdrive pulley, but both of those are not going to up your hp by very much.
