Question Need Help with Mods! and Performance Shops

Hey.. Hope someone can help.. I live about 20 min west of Atlanta,Ga. I am having trouble finding performance shops . I have an 02 SS LE that i have decided to start modifying. I have done the typical mods myself,, cold air.. tBY,bellows,, etc.. I am looking to do a hot head and cam package. Also i would like to do the True Dual system with some LT headers. There are so many packages out there. Can anyone suggest the best place to buy from?

I dont want the top end in price but i know i get what i pay for. Any feedback or suggestions for any of the above questions, would be very much apprec..
Thanks in advance,,

KD

Doesnt have to be a hot cam.. I dont really know what duration i am looking for.. The car sits in the garage and is not a daily driver. I am not worried about gas mileage. I want a nice choppy idle and good torque throughout RPM's.

My car pulls like a freight train.

its alot bigger than a hotcam mines a 232/234 on a 112

heres a video.

If you want something that will lope a lil harder get a MS3 cam

My cam is available from Texas Speed and Performance.

as for perfomance shops check in the southern regional section....alot of those guys could help you out....

there are several sponsors on the right side of the page that have good setups....as stated texas speed is one of them, ive ordered several things from them...good guys

also check out the internal section there are plenty reviews of cams in there....if its not a DD id suggest something in the 230-240 range....but if your going that big youll need a good set of heads also....AFR's FTW

a good TD set up would be a custom setup personally....its something different, ive heard the ones that come from the companys here, there ok...but if you find a good shop....GOOD....then they should be able to make you something that sounds better...

heads are factory LS2 GTO heads(243 castings) i picked them up for pretty cheap and are a better head compared to 851,853, and 241 castings In my opinion.

Stock LS6/LS2 heads can be picked up for around 450-550 around here. These heads also have a better combustion chamber and flow a lil bit better. I would just go ahead and spend the extra 600 bucks or so and getter a set that are CNC ported.
