I've got a 9 second street car without a cage (saving for one) and the chassis is good. The car always goes straight. I think having subframe connectors and a Wolfe anti-roll bar helps a lot!

Would there be any way to get away without subframe connectors or is that just not a smart move to make? The car is pretty well stock and would like some opinions on well just about everything from suspension to bolton's and cams and that good stuff to.

Yeha, but my point is you have run your car at the track. I'm talking about ricers who never run at the track, but say their car runs 10's. Like a guy one of my friends knows say he has a 10 sec. DSM that is putting out 600 hp, but no sheet and no slip to back it up. So I called BS.

Yup, those were almost the exact word's out of my mouth. When I was telling my friend who owned one (he now has a high 11 EVO, with the slip to prove it), he cleared it up for me, it's not that the car runs an 10 sec. 1/4, its that it runs FOR 10 sec. before breaking.

Just any weld in will do. Im partial to BMR boxed. They seem to go well with the frame consistency. DD's just add additional weight.

If you are seriously tryng to make a consistent 10.xxx second pass, then it would be wise.
