Default Newbie Tech Questions...

I wanted to know at what rwhp level would I need to upgrade my stock displacement LS1 fuel system (pump & injectors)? What are your suggestions? I also need to send my PCM in for a tune and would like to know the procedures for removing it. Thank you,

I am still running pure stock fuel setup on my SS. Laying down 420's. Aint a thang. My duty cycle is like 107% though when I log a drive.

Thanks everybody for the positive input! I'm having heads, LS6 intake & the MS4 put on with all the exhaust & intake mods. I may need to upgrade my injectors. What would be a good choice with a little growth in case I add something else later?

Damn, that wasn't a newbie tech question like I was expecting.

Fuel system questions are definately NOT newbie tech. I was expecting something about "rims, or muh intake." I was humbled!

Just don't try and jump up to 85 lb fuel injectors all at once when you are looking for room to grow. Way back when I thought that bigger was better I learned that I was a dumbass and should learn more about proper sizing for fuel injectors.......

you really will never need anything bigger than a 36# SVO injector for a stock bottom end stout heads and cam setup. When you start looking for high impedence injectors then you are making some 800rwhp+ numbers.
