German Castrol Question...
Well I bought some of this GC 0w30 awhile ago for my next oil change....but I just saw a pic on the forum and it said "European Formula" on the front of the bottle....mine dont say that....
On the back of the bottle on the bottom right...above the bar code it says...
But in the bottom left under the CASTROL symbol it says...
CASTROL NORTH AMERICA INC.
and the bottom middle it says...
NOT FOR SALE OUTSIDE THE AMERICAS
Is this the right stuff? Im so confused!! Its 0W30btw...
On the back of the bottle on the bottom right...above the bar code it says...
SAE 0W-30
MADE IN GERMANY

You purchased the correct stuff.
I’ve heard in the past that it doesn’t have to say “European Formula”, it only has to say made in Germany on the back.
Also, you can run that oil ALL year long, winter, summer, etc…
