Just got my TA
Just upgraded from a mustang GT to a 2001 Trans AM ws6 package. Just wondering what all should i do to upgrade this car. Im only 17 turning 18 in March, so i got somewhat of a tight budget. My parents own an Exhaust shop, so i can get some good parts at a decent price hehe. But what all should i do to my car to make it a bit quicker and sound better. I have a 100% stock car. Its an Auto trany....only thing i've done is put 2 duel tips on it. What kind of a muffer should i put on it. I wana give it that growl. Not like the one its got now (stoke system) but like the classic car growl ya know what im saying. Again im 17 i dont know what it is or what you guys are saying in the other exhaust threads, so speak slowly and use simple words hah just messin but what should i do to give it that classic car sound?

Im not sure, like i said i just got it. I havn't figured out which way to go with everything. I'd love to put in a cam but i'd have to pay somebody to do that. But the exhaust is what i want to be badass. You ever herd the old cars just sit there and idle and its like Click here to see Video

I would get some Longtubes put on there and run true duals. The only reason I didn't do this is because I don't wanna sink a lot of money in it and I don't trust too many exhaust shops around here to do it right.
