I have a 2002 camaro ss, and i have noticed alot of people on here have there production number listed with there car. How do i tell what my number is? Thanks!

call SLP I think they can find that out for you, not sure if there is a way to tell on your car, you can also get a "birth certificate" from them, also just search this site this has probably been answered before

You can also check with your local Chevy dealer and ask them to run the VIN.
SLP is your best bet though.

pm David Hamburger your VIN # and ask him what your build # is and he can let you know...thats what i did and it turns out my 00ss is #3812

Yes, All you have to do is call SLP with your VIN and they will tell you what your SLP car number is. The GM number will be different. You can also order a car number plate that goes on the front of the head. They usually wait until they have 30-35 orders before they will make it so ask them how many orders have been placed if you do that.

I don’t think SLP makes the a car number plate anymore, I spoke to them not too long ago and they told me they stopped making those a long time ago. If anyone else knows were I can get one please let me know.

It wouldn't surprise me. I got mine about 4 years ago. It sucks that they quit doing it especially for those who are just getting an SS and cant get some of the car specific stuff.

That really sucks that they stopped, do you or dose anybody else know were I can order one like it or something along the lines similar to it?
