Default newbie, noticeable rear end

i am coming from a 96 V6 so i am use to some Camaro noises. lately i have noticed on 01 Z28 that i can almost count the teeth on rear end gear at a low speed. this is only noticeable at about 10 mph with the radio off. once i speed up i don't hear anything. the car has the performance axle. (3.23) its kind of like a fast clicking. car only has 44 000 miles so i assumed that if anything was wrong i might be low on fluid. it doesn't leak tho. is this normal?

they are picky...pull the cover and see whats going on...make sure to put posi additive back in it. MY bearing just went out and the car onyl has 23k miles on it. The bearing made the rear whine like a BEE OTCH

Might be a chipped tooth. They make that kind of noise when a tooth gets chipped.

no plans to modify. love the car as is. i pushed the insurance to total my v6 because it was less than reliable. so if this car starts with problems then i will just replace it with the stock stuff.
