Default How Am I Doing??

I bought my 98 SS about 6 months ago. My only mod is a loudmouth cat-back. I'm about to purchase Pacesetter LT's, with a catted TSP y(my county has emmisions), and an ls6 manifold. The exhaust might be alittle loud and raspy but im gonna see how it goes. Any tips on how much hp or times i should have after these?? I dont think im doin to bad for being 17....

Yeah good thing you are putting cats on there or it would be real raspy. Loudmouth sounds great on stock manifolds though. You will probably be putting around 340-350 hp to the wheels after your mods. Do you have a M6 or A4?

some kids are worthy of having HP! i was 18 and had my 1985 z28 build for me that's in my sig. and the car is still in one piece and on rebuilding the motor for the 3rd time. being 18 and having a high 10 sec car is rare, but i had my mom's approval.

That is going to be one loud combo! But you should be putting down 335+ to the wheels. Next up should be a ported TB, and perhaps an UDP. Those should move you up close to 350 rwhp.

I'd throw a lid on there while you're at it... Hard to say what times you'll be running because it's all based on how well you can drive the car. But lookin good so far!

not bad at all.. exhaust and U/D pulley were my first mods.. definitly wakens up the car.. im 18 here and ive been driving with 400+rwhp. never had a ticket/accident *knock on wood*
at 16 i had an 83 z28 5 speed with a 350 crate in it, it all depends on the kid. if he respects his car then he wont kill him self, the kids that try to show off and feel like their an expert driver are the ones that are dead
