Default Swapping a LS6 manifold

I would like to swap my LS1 intake for an LS6. Do all the other parts from the LS1 carry over? I know I will be losing the EGR (no biggie). But do the throttle body, fuel pressure regulator etc carry over?

Oh yea, is this worth the effort with just the exhaust in sig?

Thanks in advance.......

yes, yes, yes and yes, the only thing you will have to do will either be to swap the coolent lines under the intake for the ones that come on the 01+cars as seen/bought Here or take a dremel to the fins on the bottom of the LS6 intake to make your LS1 lines fit.

Yeah, it's a worth while swap even with the Mids. As stated, everything will carry over. You can reuse all the gaskets if they are in good shape.

Thanks. I love this forum for all the info and help I've received. i recently purchased a 2000 SS convertible that ran pretty rough. After trying to hunt down the problem I read that de-screening the MAF could be the problem. I checked and the previous owner had done just that. I swapped it out and now it runs great! I look forward to putting in the LS6 manifold and then swapping cams. The consensus seems to be a GM hot cam or 224/224 for stock heads. Any ideas?

the TR224 is a great cam. But there are better out there. I would avoid the "HotCam".

Could you elaborate on the better cam option? This will be my daily driver with 0 track time. Just looking to maximize the fun factor .

I plan on running this set-up into the ground and by that time an affordable large displacement crate motor will be available (LSx, L92, L76???).

Thanks!
