Default Smelly

So I have recently saved some money by switching to Geico. I think I should buy a new car air freshener with this extra dough. My car kind of smells like a cat peed in it. Do you think I should buy the kind that you stick in your vent? the hanging kind? or the little cans? What scent? What do you guys run in your Ls1s? Would this extra weight slow me down? Thanks Guys.

Send me some of whatever you're on. I need a break from reality. If your car smells like a cat pissed in it, one probably did. Hose that sucker down with Febreze!

How do you hose with Febreze? I thought it came in a spray bottle? Wouldn't you "spray" it on? "Spray that sucker down with Febreze!" is what you SHOULD say. I dont think its possible to hose Febreze unless you got one of those industrial size bottles (88 gallons) with the hose attachment. Even then it's only availiable in "Fresh Mountain Breeze" scent. I dont think you can buy it at walmart either...nice try.

And what kind of disturbing emoticon is this------>>>

Ok maybe I am being a little sarcastic, but waht is the best overall air freshener for an F-Body? Anyone ever do a poll? I've tried searching it and didn't get anything.

I have heard that the "New car scent" has been proven to add about 15rwhp in most cases but only if you do the key fob mod.

Go to a Malco Dealer and get a bottle of Blue Blaze. It's a Smell goody, cleaner and brightener for rubber, plastic and such. Then get u a Vanilla air freshener that looks like a tree. It will Smell GOOD!! That's what I use. Everybody compliments when they get in on how good it smells... Just my ,2 cents

new car scent air freshener is a rip off. There isn't anything out there than can replicate that smell.

If i was you, i would REMOVE the seats and steam clean the interior a few times and then go for the febreeze or deoderant. I would also steam clean the seats if they're cloth or leather treatment if its leather(obv). I worked at a detailing place and one of my first missions was just this scenario. And lets just say after 3 hours of cleaning, i was STILL thankful I wasn't the one driving it home clean it properly, otherwise all your doing is masking the smell....lol wait til summer

Hey thanks for asking. It's an Olds. People think I'm crazy but I enjoy finding and restoring old wagons. guess you could call me the "wagoneer dude". I come here for more info about cars and whatnot. Great site.

I use the blue fresheners (not sure what scent but there blue) that go in the vents, I think they work the best without being overpowering

I smoke in my car, so every couple weeks I give it a couple presses of Ozium air sanitizer.

Possum **** is the WORST smell I have ever smelled. Ask me how I know. White Liberty, I love wagons as well. I'm trying to convince my girlfriend that we need to buy a 94-96 Buick Roadmaster wagon. Someday I will own a 1971 Chevy Kingswood Estate wagon with a 500 CI LSX and a T56 backing it. That would be ****.
