what's everyones oil pressure normally at? Mine sits at around 30 psi at idle when it's warmed up, that kinda seems low to me.

Mine's 30-35 in gear fully warm, 35+ in park/neutral fully warm.

That's with M1 0W40 oil and stock A4 idle rpms of 550 in gear/650 in park.

I'm fine with it.

dont go by the factory guage mine sat at 30 warm i nstalled an aftermarket mechanical and its about 20 at idle warm then jumps to 50 anything above 2k

yea factory gauge isnt accurate on 99-02 i believe....mine sits at

50-55 psi cold start up

40 psi operating temp.

Mine sits around 45 or so warmed up, on start up it's around 50. It's an LS6 oil pump if that makes a difference.

3 LS1s, I've yet to see 40psi on a stock pump with stock idle rpms once fully warm. Usually somewhere just above 35 at best.

cmon now, weve disargeed alot bigger things then this...youve had 3 ls1's ive had 3 ls1 motors ....just saying the norm is around 40...2psi is nothing....

i suppose the hundreds of other people ive help with no incident will have called me a douche to?....

ive argued with RPM on alot of things, but ive never resorted to calling him a "douche" or "asswhipe"...etc etc.....

be lucky im not one of those people who's telling you that "10 psi per 1000rpms is good".....bc theres alot of guys on here that will do that...and you might have believed them....look man just have a nice day, the sun even shines on a dogs ***

Mine sits at about 38 or 39 warmed up at a stoplight in drive. Startup is 60 if i remember correctly. I have 120k miles on mine too.
