Default How can I tell if I have a factory Hurst shifter?

Does it say "Hurst" on it like the aftermarket ones do? Or is there another way to check and see if I have a Hurst shifter or not?

I see where you're going with this, but just because it might have a hurst shift **** doesn't necessarily make it a hurst shifter. Lots of people, like me, changed to a hurst **** for aesthetic reasons.

It doesn't have a Hurst ****, it has an aftermarket billet one. Are the factory ones marked like the aftermarket ones with "Hurst" engraved on the side of the shifter stick?

My stock Hurst stick doesn't say anything on the side of it.

the bottom of the stick should have adjustable stops too i think. i could be wrong. Mine didn't have one but does now. Kind of a waste as i felt no difference in the way it shifter. Sold it and put my stocker and ShortStick back in as i liked the way my stock one felt better. ~cole

One of the sweetest feeling shifters I have felt was a factory Hurst with a UMI short stick. (Thats the setup I just bought because I like how my buddies setup was)
