Yeah, remove the bolts and straighten tabs back out, replace bolts. Did you replace the front tires too?

Make them do it, or you can try bending them back a little with flat nosed plyers first, then remove them and make the tabs straight - resinsall.

Yep, the tabs are pretty flexible, you should be able to bend it back yourself.

This is the reason why no tire shop will ever see my car. I take the wheels off at home and bring them in without the car.

take it back and see if they will comp you, tell them you're never coming back, make a big fuss, you'll get cheap tires until you move out of the area.

Grab the tab with some vice grips and bend it back. Thats what I did with mine. It worked well and only took a couple of minutes.

very common mistake when ppl try to jack these cars up. Raise hell at the shop, then get a BFH and fix it yourself that's what I did a long time ago. Then replace your bald *** tires and rusty Y pipe.

Will bending the tabs back with vicegrips fix the fender to door gap issue that is pictured above? I've seen this on a lot of 4th gen f-body's and it looks like it would be hard to get that gap between the fender and door to be even like it was from the factory.

Has anyone fixed this on a camaro with positive results?

I have fixed this issue on friends cars before. It's not that hard at all, assuming they didn't bend it far enough to break the plastic tab off the fender.

The door gap just goes right back into place once you get the tab straightened out.
