My philosophy is upgrade the weak points first. My car had 40K when I got it and my first mods were tires, Koni SA's, and tint. Getting an SLP lid next then probably an adjustable panhard bar.
Next to the rear end the shocks are the weak point on these cars and if you're not launching a lot the rear end should hold up. If you plan on launching the car a lot plan on a rear end soon, it will not hold up. You can use the stock one till it goes but I'd at least set aside the cash or look in the parts for sale for a bargain while the stock one is still going. Rear ends aren't cheap and it would really suck to spend all your excess cash on power upgrades only to have the rear end go out afterwards. Some stuff isn't forseeable but if you're launching the car and increasing the power the rear end going out would be considered forseeable to me.
Koni's SA's will give you a huge difference in ride and handling and the flexibility to go many different ways with your suspension as your needs/wants change.

Lid, catback, LTs/y-pipe, ls6 intake, home port/polish TB, DRs, SFCs, LCAs.
Thats a good start and of course somewhere in there(probably after the DRs) you will grenade the rear so you must factor that in lol as well. Then of course comes the cam
