this is prob the stupidest question, thats why i put it in the newb sec, But is it better to race with traction control on or off ive been racing with it on and its been good giving me the traction i need ???

off cuz if u go down low from like a 30 or 20 roll...if u have it on, it'll like push your gas pedal up. But when you have it off, you just spin till you regain control. You know what i mean? I dont have TCS in my car but i hear alot of things.

Yep - off for sure. Then you'll have to worry about getting traction! But, at least the motor will be making the power.

im not really sure.I thought off would be better but when I was all stock and on the track I for some reasons had better times with it on. havent been since my bolt on mods.

off, it robs power, you should be able to go faster with it off as long as you have done the driver mod

the traction control in these is crap... it's not "traction control" at all. it just forces the pedal up so you can't continue to accelerate. which, obviously, isn't beneficial to racing.

yeah, thats true im going to try it off, thanks, getting some 285 yokohamas in the back so that should be better than the so called "traction control" thanks guys.

Just learn how to pedle it a little off the line and not go all out your times will be better with it off.

I haven't raced but when I drive around town I always turn mine off. Theres been times when I get on the throttle and the traction control kicks in and for a split second I think somethings wrong with my car. Thats about the time I realize the traction control is still on.
