Im doing a intake swap on my 99 Z first mod so far but i took it out and there is a black line comeing form the back its real small looks like a vacuum line its not the vacuum line that goes to the brake booster. Did i broke smoething and how to fix it. Also is there anyway i can use the coolant lines that are on there now or do i have to buy 01+ ones case i cant find them in my town. HELP PLEASE

and i did try a search

There are some small vacuum lines that if not hooked back up will prevent your heater/AC controls from working. Make sure nothing is broke, then re-connect them to the back of the intake

The LS6 intake requires the use of 01-02 coolant lines. Some guys make provisions on the fins on the bottom of the intake so they dont have to swap the coolant pipes....I dont like hacking up parts so I would just pay the $50 for the coolant pipe/plugs.

yes and yes
this goes to the heater controls just splice it back together using rubber hose.

if using an ls6 intake just grind down the fins of the bottom of the intake.
i have a metal iuntake,what i done was cut the lines at each corner and flared the ends and used 1/4" hose to make the new lines it worked great and looks good as well

its there may have to peel back some wire loom to find it its on the pass side way back next to heater box

i used a tiny piece of vaccum line to splice it together

find the wires that went to the map sensor trace those back and you should find the line
