Default Idles fluctuates when stopped at a light

When the vehicle is warm and sitting at a light the idle tends to jump from around 8-900 to 1300-1500 and back down to normal. I am thinking IAC. I know on my Cobra, we can clean those. Any ideas what I can do for the LS1? Any input is appreciated.
Thanks

You could also check the throttle body. If there's even a little build up where that flap is it can cause an erratic idle. Clean that with carb cleaner as well.

Many things can cause idle issues like that on these cars. IAC, TPS, minor vacuum leak, MAF, etc.

It helps to have an OBD scanner handy when the issue occurs so you can look at some PCM data.
