Default Just wondering...

Will it hurt your car to drive without the exaust on?? I was told that it will not and i was also told that it will and something about needing back compression?? Idk thats why i ask.

When you say "without exhaust", just how *without* are we talking? Open exhaust ports on the heads, or just something like removing the catback and dumping it right at the Y-pipe?

^That isn't a problem. If you were to run it with manifolds off the heads, I hear that outside air can get sucked in and warp a valve.

You might want to consider putting a turndown on the end of the Y-pipe if you plan on leaving it open like that for an extended time. That'll direct the soot away from the undercarrige.
