Default exhaust question

how loud is a cutout on stock exhaust (no cat converter though) compared to true duals?

How do you want to define loud??? Would a db reading help??

And compared to what true duals??? A stock Corvette or Mustang has duals and is pretty darn quiet.

Damn I really wish all you guys would stop assuming duals are loud. They are simply as loud as you make them or as quiet as you make them. Hell they could be quieter than a stock catback if you so wanted

As for your question, well DAH it ain't exactly going to be quiet. But with no point of reference on what you consider to be loud then it's not easy to give a more precise answer.

hmm i have a cutout and the rest of my exhaust is bone stock, pretty much at WOT u won't hear the radio or the person next to you. And at just like 1500 or 2000 RPM's it reminds u of xome old school muscle cars. Definetly get alot of compliments on the sound. Also everything you add later (lt's, ory, better or no cats) will just make it sound nicer.

Ls1sounds.com will help a bit
