what the hell happened?
ok i was riding down a country road and came in to a slight turn in 4th at about 95mph droped it to third going in to the turn as i was braking. it churped the tires a lil as i let the cluch out as it was slowing down. the low trac light came on, abs inop came on, asr off came on, and the brake light came on. they all stayed on till i made it home (about 2 miles). i turned the car off and turned it back on and the lights went out. i havnt drove the car agen yet. any ideas? one of those random things? bad wheel sensor?

did you blip the throttle?!
when i was learning how to road race i found out the hard way that if you arent matching your engine speed with the gear you run the risk of blowing up your rear end. when i downshifted before a corner without blipping the throttle the tires chirped and the car jerked pretty hard.

yeah, it just takes practice practice practice.

ya when the brake light and abs light both come on, ur car sensed to hard of loss in traction which 4 some reason trips off ur abs until ur restart ur car. did that sliding on the ice. i like wat the owners manual suggests. "adjust driving accordingly"

Just want to add in that changing your rear end gear ratio will throw off you speedo and it will trigger your ABS and Trac lights to come on and stay on. Even changing to too big of a tire size can trigger the ABS and Trac sensors to go off as well. Also with the rear end situation if your swapping out the weak S-10 rear end on your F-body, I would suggest getting the 9 vs the 12 bolt. The 9's now adays are stronger than the 12 bolts.

9" is a power eater. Most people are not making enough power to hurt a 12 bolt anyway. Many 9 second cars running on 12 bolts.
