Talking Check for WOT w/ Volt Meter?

I am adjusting the throttle on my 5.7 (GTO) - a member said there was a write up here about how to check to make sure I was getting 100% WOT using a volt meter. I can not find the thread/how to. Can some one direct me to that write up?

Thanks,

- w

Just check the voltage on the TPS. I'm not sure which wire is which, but just poke around w/ the meter and one end on a good ground. Open up the blade, you want to get ~ 4.6 V. Key on, engine off.

WOT is 4.7vdc as I recall, but it's been a while.

Search for bump stop mod.

4.7v is 100% WOT.......when your adjusting it stop when you get close, like 4.68v because if you go over 4.7v you'll throw a check engine light. I know there are a few write-ups on it, just look for the bump stop mod
