Are you saying you have headers with a stock y-pipe?

A lot of people like the cut out, i personally am not going to do it, my car is loud enough as it is and the gains are minimal

Cutouts are for the track, if you dont go then you really dont need them unless you want you exhaust to be alot louder..

If it already has headers and a LM catback, why would you want to do a different Y-pipe? Either leave the current Y-pipe on there, or switch to duals with an X-pipe.

Also try a search on "cutouts" there are alot of different opinions out there; most people really like them and dont have trouble with the electrics. Personally I think it would sound mean as hell with just one cutout.

you sure it doesn't already have a 3" y pipe on the car? Don't see the point in doing headers and a catback but not replacing the y.
