Bright Purple Camaro's???

Bright Purple Camaro's??? I was reading the info on camaro's the other day and saw that Chevy made like 12 bright metallic purple camaro's but had an issue with the paint. Would that mean that Bright Metallic Purple is the rarest of camaro colors.

they made 433 bpm camaros (total, v6 & ls1) in 98... and that was the only production year. it is a VERY rare color. my brother has a z28 vert, awesome color.

They made 12 WS6s in Bright Purple Metallic, I own one of them... one of 6 with a 6-speed, the 6th one built, ASC #19.
I also own one of the 26 Formulas built in that color, and it's a hardtop so it's probably a fairly rare car as well.
Camaros.. 433 built.
95 of them were Z28s, 14 were Z28 ragtops. There were no Camaro SSs built in that color.
And actually.. a Sport Gold '99 Camaro is much rarer than Bright Purple Metallic, since that color wasn't officially offered in '99, but there were a few of them made to fulfill a contractual obligation for a promotion.
