There are only four lines that are hooked up to the manifold. The little one on the back for your a/c, the big one on the back for your brake booster, the one on the front for the pcv, and the other one in the front for something with the fuel system.

My guess would be leading towards a clogged cat.

the #8 coil pack might be bad but start with the basics to make sure everything is hooked up ok and that you are getting good fuel air and spark for your starting problem

I agree .... I would check/replace your gas filter if you havent done so and also check your fuel injectors

sounds like your motor isnt getting enough fuel ..... start small buy some fuel injector cleaner like Lucos(try half tank instead of a full) if that doent work change out your fuel filter (process of elimination) .... it might be simple vacuum leak ...... could be clog cat ....... how many miles are on the car? How long did you have it ? when is the last time YOU did a tune up? what do you have done to it?

what type of tune up (spark plugs , seafoam , flush, filters, belts, fluids)
i wonder if your gas problem directly related to this situation ..... maybe you have a air bubble (back pressure) ....... you need relieve some air through EVAP line you know maybe thats why you can put gas in your car ..... let know if that works

my brothers 98 blazer did the same thing.. check the throttle body 4 carbon build up.. take a can of 2+2 n spray it into the throttle body with the butterfly valve open.. dont spray TOO much.. but it may take a while 4 it 2 start up at first 2 burn the 2+2.. it shuld be ok after that.. if it does it again repeat the process...
