Default Track advice

ive havent raced my 98 trans am M6 yet at the track (or any other car for that matter) and i am wondering what rpm i should have it at when im about to launch my car. i have cooper zeon tires and some of my mods are ported throttle body and mass air, ported heads, mac mid length headers, no cats,!EGR, off road Y pipe, borla catback with electric cutout, ls6 intake, 4:10 gears, bmr control arms, bmr torque arm, bmr tubular sub frame connectors. also what time frame should i be in. Thanks and i know this is a really stupid question but im a NEWB.
