No Low-End
My 1999 Z28 does not have traction control. when I floor it from a light the wheels won't spin. But, when Im doing 35 or 40 mph, and floor it, it will light 'em up. What's up w/ that?

My car is an '02 mostly stock, 3.23 gears, and no traction control. I would spin like crazy if I floored it from a dead stop.
Even when I had my '96 Z with the 2.73 gear I could spin them with an all stock car.
It would help us if you gave some more info. like what tranny, mods, and mileage on the car.

All gas motors have a torque curve that is not so hot at the
bottom end of RPM. The converter is holding you down some.
The more torque you have, the more your RPM comes up and
the more torque you get.
You may have tune or state-of-tune issues that are sapping
the low end more than usual. However I test-drove a Z/28
with 2.73s before buying mine and it was not really able to spin
them with ease either. Very different just with the 3.23s. If
you can't spin with 3.23s and street tires I'd say there's a
problem somewhere.
