How much $$$ should I look to spend? Hey guys, I see a Maroon Z28 with a tan leather interior at a dealer not far from me. It looks pretty clean. It's a 2001 with 51K miles.
What do you think I should be able to get it for? I know that depends on negotiations but I feel like I should be able to get it for $12,000 to $12,500. What do you guys think about that?

yeah that seems about right. but definitely wait for the one thats exactly what you want. I got lucky and after a week of looking i got the exact one i wanted, and it was just some small add with no description.

I just purchased a 2002 z28 with 38k miles on it got a 2nd set of tires and it alrdy had original zr1 wheels...295 up front and 315's in the back. Total since I traded my shitty 00 mustang in on it was 18k. so 12-13k is not bad. But please look up your local machine/engine builder shops and ask if you can have them check it out. You never know how hard the car was driven for those 54k miles. The mustang I mentioned had 32k miles on it and an 00. Well after the 3rd day guess was was knocking!!! So just get it checked out. Id still try to haggle with them pretty hard core though.. Oh and I live in hawaii so my cost should be higher than yours.
