new cam questions i was wanting to get a new cam for my 99' Trans AM LS1...i was wondering if anyone could help me out. I was wanting the power range to stay in the same area RPM wise and im not really looking for max HP, but i am looking for that low rumble when at idle. right now its completely stock, i just got her a few weeks ago, first LS1

First off, welcome to the board! 
Secondly, you need to do some research in gen III internal engine section of this board. Read all the stickies. There is a wealth of information about camshafts there, including what supporting modifications you need to have before performing a cam swap, what cam specs would suit your application, etc. There's enough to keep you busy for hours. You can learn a ton just by reading what's already been posted here.
