Ok, so the car has been like this since I bought it, but the more I read about shitty rearends, the more I worry.


When I'm slowing down, I can usually hear a "popping" sound, it sounds like it's either coming from the rearend or the driveshaft. A passenger in the backseat on the passenger side said that he sould feel a vibration on his foot with the sound. At really slow speeds(when slowing to a stop)it almost feels like the back axle is warped...it's hard to explain what I mean...kinda like if you ever rode on skates or a scooter with a warped tire..."bump, bump, bump".


Sorry for the shitty explanations, but that's the best I got. I'm leaning more towards driveshaft...any ideas?

Check the U-joints and the tranny mount.

mine has the same problem, under like 20mph its almost like you have a bent rim.. i can remember if it started befor or after i swopped out the rearend. but all my u-joints are new
