AC comp running, with air off?
This might be a stupid question, but im trying to figure out if the ac should have condensation on it when I have the ac turned off inside the car. I have not used the AC in weeks, but everytime I open the hood there is condensation on the ac pump. Does this even make sense? lol
thanks

Is the compressor running for sure, look at the middle of the pulley, if that is spinning with the A/C control off it may be a bad switch in the car for the A/C controls, or possibly a stuck A/C relay, I'm not sure what else could cause it. Try just setting the air control to like vent and see if its blowing out ice cold air.

The defroster/ heater may also cause the AC to run to clear the windows with dry air. Even with the heat turned up. If everything is working OK don't mess with it.
