Default Will The Regular Slp Lid Fit On A Slp 85mm Maf?

Hello again. I have a 2002 Z28 A4. The guy that had the car before me took the screen out of the MAF meter. When I had my car dynoed a few weeks ago I found out that the car was leaning out @ 4500 rpm and above and the computer was taking timing out to prevent detonation. I bought the 85mm SLP MAF meter. Will this work with the SLP lid? Or do I have to buy a new lid to fit the MAF meter. I am asking this because I just bought the lid and the opening of the MAF meter seems to be to big for the SLP lid.. WIll it fit or is there something I can do to make it fit? Thanks

Does the lid fit inside the MAF? The stock MAF meter fits very snog inside the SLP lid. Also did you have to get a tune? SLP sight said no tune is required. Thanks

I am running it with no tune. I will take a pic of it in the morning so you can see before ordering it!

you wouldn't notice it unless you were at the track with your time. thats really the only way to tell the small differences in mods. But like headers and lsx intakes you can notice that ****.

I was just wondering. I already have SLP intake, cold air mod, Magnaflow exhaust, gutted cats and a tune. And I noticed a difference. I have the headers in and ready to be put on and the converter is on its way!! HEHE

I just took the maf to homedepot and at the same time made my own smooth bellows for like 7.00. I dont know if it made a differnece I still am waiting to get a tune when I install the converter heads and cam. I have yet to install just one mod and see if I notice a difference I usually get a few parts then take a day to install them all!
