Default Cutout in stock exhaust

I know I wont see any real gains from this but I was wondering if there were any sound clips or if anyone has any comments on them. I already checked ls1sounds.com but no dice. Also, will a 3" cutout even weld into stock exhaust without any extra work?

I have one under the rear seat - when open it's A LOT louder than my corsa, even with stock cats.

My exhaust is all stock and I have a 3" cutout welded in the I pipe under the rear passenger seat. I had Lentz weld it in for $40. I always keep it open. It sounds so much better than stock. Sorry no sound clips. It is loud, but not too loud. All I can say is do it. You won't regret it. If you have $1,000 you can get more HP and better sound from LTs and full exhaust, but for $20 a cutout is the way to go if you don't have major $$$.

3" is perfect. It will slide right over the stock exhaust and weld up nicely. I had one on my stock exhaust on my LT1 and my old LS1. It definatley was noticeable in the upper RPM's. I just ordered a QTP stainless cutout for my SS. My cutouts were usually always uncapped. They are very fun.
