Default Dumb question.....but I'll ask anyway :)

I had a guy chasing down a leak in one of my tires today. When he did he dug out the spare temporarily. There is a plastic piece that has instructions for changing the tire that got removed along with the tire and I can't figure out how it installs back

Any help here would be appreciated. It's annoying the hell out of me

Are you talking bout' the plastic piece that covers your spare? If so, why did he take the plastic piece completely out? I wish I could help you, man, but I'm confused myself. Our interior trimming isn't the greatest, when I get to my spare, I don't even lock the plastic piece back in place. I just put it back in place.

its like legos, seriously though. I put the fat side in first then bend it alittle and push the other end into place and lock the tabs.

No it's not the plastic trim panel. There is another plastic piece that has instructions printed on it how to change the spare tire that was loose in the trunk. I know how to put the trim panel back, I'm just not sure where the other piece goes.

I yanked mine a long time ago, but is that the piece the goes between the floor and the jack (or on top of the jack)? Plastic piece shaped like a "Z" or a "N" kinda??

I think I figured it out. I'm pretty sure it covers the jack. Found a picture of it in the owners manual

Thanks guys.
