Default My car is dead!!!

I was changing my battery and I accidentally touched the wrench from the positive terminal to a part of my AC system, now my car is going absolutely nuts. The engine DOES start but the gauges, warning lights, and dome light all flicker on and off. I checked all my fuses and they are all good. I also checked all my ground wires and they are fine. Any suggestions of what to check next?

Yeah...it really sucks. Every since I got the car its been one thing after another. What really sucks is that the car only has 18,000 miles on it.

did you try to leave the battery disconnected for a few mins and reconnecting it. Sounds like a "alarm" or someting.

You might check your alternator next to see if it is putting out the right amount of charge

had you disconnected the negative battery cable first and reconnected it last that never would have happend. try disconnecting both cables NEGATIVE FIRST, and touching them both togeather while disconnected. This will reset the the ram in all your modules and discharge all the capacitors. if that doesnt work you probably fried a module or 2.

It runs just fine. How do I check if relays are bad? I will also re-check the big fuses.

Looks like I learned the hard way. I will give that a shot, thanks. What modules are you talking about?
