i got the OBX stainless lt's 1 7/8 on my z28.seems to be good craftsman ship . hand heliearced on a jig.
i had the bend the ERG tube on the passenger side down a tad bit to get the bolt through the flange. and when i change my oil i have to hold the header to get the oil drain plug out. they use donut gaskets witch are way better then the flat things so your able to put the pipe at a slight angle. IMO those stupid clamps are poo that come with them. my next set of header will be KOOKS though

Let me just say to keep this on the dl or the mods will shut it down. If you dont have any personal experience with a certain product then keep your comments to yourself because your not contributing to the thread.
I on the other hand do have experience with the OBX headers and intercoolers and have nothing but good luck with them and would definitely buy again.
My opinion is even if you had to replace them in 3 years its still better than 1500.00 for brand name headers. On a n/a motor as long as they dont leak and fit without banging or dragging then you cant go wrong.
Honestly on a street car even if they produce 5-10 hp less theres no way you'll notice that. I mean you'll have those differences with the change in weather.
You shouldnt be focused on peak hp rather on hp and torque under the curve.

What are you talking about? Mine fit better than any set of headers i've ever put on. I'm 40 yrs old and every small block set I've installed I've had to grind, cut, beat, and modify. These went on in under 2 hrs they were awesome.
My car picked up .3 in the 1/8 with these. I highly doubt even your 700.oo headers picked up more than that.
