Not everyone feels the need to smoke their tires from every stop. I've also found the Nittos to be a very long lasting tire in addition to being a good performance. I have found cars on Autotrader with 30000 still running the crappy Eagle GSA's.

I topped out a Z-28 and it was nowhere near as stable as the WS6 above 140. Maybe its aerodynamics package of one vs the other anyone know what the downforce created by one vs the other at speed.

you can make street zrated tires last awhile, as long as your not being a moron every chance you get...if i had to replace my tires every 6 months, that $$$ would break my ***

When I bought my car, I think it was still on the stock tires at 53k miles. The old owner never really got into it like I do. As far as speed goes....150 two different times. Now don't go more than 100 lol. Seeing a cop at those speeds is scary ****...

I thought he meant it as a hypothetical. But maybe I'm wrong.

But this one time at band camp I got really drunk and played spin the bottle Seriously, I got drunk at a house warming party and asked a friend I worked with to drive me home since he was sober. He drove me home in my Formula with his GF following in his car.

We're on 590 which is a three lane highway and normally isn't watched very closely by cops. He's doing 65 with me in the passenger seat when he decides to nail it. Anyone with 3.23's knows that 65 is a nice sweetspot for a 2nd gear downshift. I look over at the speedo and see he's over 120 (took no time at all).

Then I look over and see us pass a cop that was on an on-ramp. We had to be going at least 125 and the cop had his lights on. I was like "dude, you are so going to jail". I'm pretty drunk now so I start laughing and busting his chops. But the cop never entered the highway. My friend had slowed back down to 65 and finished driving me home.

All I can figure is the cop had pulled someone over, gave them a ticket and was still sitting there finishing paperwork.

When I was stock mine pegged out the speedometer @160. (At what would be 160). Needle hit the stop. Now my speedometer is set for 256mph.
