Default BG Ram Air Work???????

i read a forum somewere about the ws6 hood not sealing with the airbox like the camaro, i seen a guy make one but i dont remember were i seen it, i found one on www.ls1speed.com the is BG Ram Air its says its designed to replace the stock WS6 hood baffles and seal the 1inch gap between the hood and the airbox. has any of the ws6 owners in here installed this on there car, if so can you tell a difference and is it worth it.

Sealing the hood is definitely worth it. It lowers IATs and actually reduces ram air effect from 80mph to 40-50mph. Most tend to pick up .1 to .2 and 2-3mph in the quarter. The BGRA kits http://www.geocities.com/brian98rama..._Air_Pics.html are no longer available, unless you email him and he makes you one special, but he wants $500. Fast Toys just developed a replacement (JAAM) for it for $195 http://fasttoys.net/shop/product_inf...d106b8e68bbde1 . Some of us debaffle http://www.geocities.com/brian98ramair/Baffle.html and seal with homemeade kits. Mine cost about $25 with Lowes supplies

Since the BGRA isn't produced anymore, just parts are, you could get the new Fast Toys kit & then add the BGRA corner pieces to make it look clean without grills like the BGRA kit originally did.

It's either that or seal it yourself & spend about 1/4 the costs.
