Default I'm getting an MS4 cam, which intake should I get with it?

I've decided on the MS4 cam for my Formula in my sig. Which intake should I get for it? I can get an LS6 intake, and have it ported for a lot less than a FAST 90, but will that starve me of some power? Or is the little power possibly gained by going with a FAST over a ported LS6 not worth the money?

The LS6 intake will do well, but the FAST would be an improvement. If you can get your hands on an LS6 cheap go for it. Personally I would put money towards a set of heads before considering the FAST intake. Some good flowing heads will increase power output about 3 times more than the intake. I would save the FAST for the last mod you do, unless you are trying to run a max effort cam only setup.

I was wondering how much power extra is the FAST really going to yeild me over a ported LS6 intake. The difference in price is about $600.

Yeah, but the delimma is for a little more than the difference in price from the LS6 intake to a FAST, I could have myself a set of heads. And the heads would make a LOT more difference than an LS6 intake to a FAST would. I have a certain power level I want to attain (along with a budget) and I guess I can't really justify spending that much more for a FAST when the gains would be minimal over a ported LS6.

Yeah, I was already aware of this info. It won't apply to my application though as my Formula will be staying N/A.
