Ahh the possibilities..
Alright boys and girls, i've had my car for about 3-4 months now and its time for more modding. It is currently put away for the winter, but Christmas is coming up and i dont know what to ask for. You can see my current mods in my sig. I have a cam but no heads. I could get nitrous. New rear end? Suspension stuff? What do you guys think would benefit me the most? Thanks

around 500-600 bucks for the xmas gift. I'm also saving up money on the side for another mod, which again, i'm not sure of. So basically, what 2 mods would be most beneficial.. I was told that if i were to get nitrous, there would be no sense in getting heads. I was thinking of just asking for a wet nitrous kit for xmas and then save up for a rear end. Keep the possibilities coming! Thanks

mmmmmmm
wet kit would be nice, especially if your cam is going to compliment it nicely.
I take back what I said before... start saving for that new rear ASAP... no telling what might happen with a 250 wetshot or something haha.

Safe? Nitrous is never 100% safe. I would definitely give whomever did your cam a call and ask them what they would recommend.
If you had forged internals and other supporting stuff like that, I would say you are on the better side of safe

a little under a grand for forged crank shaft.... $600 for pistons, umm
a little over $400 for some connecting rods... maybe chromemoly pushrods for a little over $100...
Rocker arms are a little over $400 for a good set.
That's some stuff off the top of my head that would be good to have.
Obviously you would be getting bigger injectors and fuel lines if you were doing nitrous as well.
This is some of the stuff I'm going to put in my engine when it's time for a rebuild.
I know I'm forgetting stuff... But if you upgraded that all, you could spray a good sized shot for a lot of runs.

First and foremost i would like to suggest do some reading in the nitrous section. You'll definitly find that you can't simply buy a kit and spray 200+.
I would recommend one of our sudden impact single nozzle kit.

Its one of the most affordable and highest quality kits on the market. for a newbie to nitrous i would start at a simple 50 shot and work your way up to 150. Along with the kit i suggest purchasing a bottle heater to keep that PSI up and a window switch. After all that i would definitly suggest putting a good rear in there. With a 100 shot you'll be pushing 500+ rhwp so your going to need a clutch that will hold. As your learning....this is one expensive hobby. Best thing i can suggest, save up and do it right the first time. Goodluck with whatever you decide, PM me or give us a call if you need any help.

the most u should run is a 150 shot a 200 is pushing it on stock heads and pistons u could do a 408 stroker but it would b about 3600 to build it so it depends on how much u have saved up. but nitrous is a cheap easy way to go fast go 150 wet on a window switch

yeah i spoke with guy that put the cam in and he said a 100 shot is ok and 150 is somewhat pushing it. I read around the nitrous section earlier today. I forgot to put the ram stage 3 clutch in my sig. That Harris Speed Works seems like a deal. what do you guys think?
